The delivery was very prompt HOWEVER in transit the left arm rest developed a tear the size of a dime. This was bought for my 7yr son old last Christmas and was a hit. A little tape UNFORTUNATELY does the trick. The chair came days before Christmas so sending it back was not an option. He uses it to watch movies and play video games. We have yet to hook up the head speakers as he seems to love it as is.
It must be comfortable. As a piece of furniture the chair looks great.BTW, the chair sounds great as well. This is the best one we've owned.
It feels like it will last forever. But we sit in it a lot more than we listen to it. The arm rests are very well made too - very comfortable and very strong.
We're fans of what we call 'banana' chairs. This chair is has something akin to wood underneath. We're more furniture-deprived than audio poor.
My son, home from college through the winter break, has been parked in this chair for 12 hours a day since he got here. And durable.he's 6'3" and 200 lbs.Previous banana chairs we've owned supported the derriere with nothing more than a spun fabric under the upholstery which, with time, always gives way.
These chairs have good bass and sound quality built inside of them. I bought four of these for my theater room. Iam now waiting to buy the model that sits higher up like a regular theater style chair. The only downside is after playing video games for several hours, its hard getting up and out of these chairs because they are so low to the ground. They are comfortable and easy to set up. Movies and games sounds awesome.
desapear in the ambience.I really recomend this item, and the shipping was very fast. Im really glad with my order, This chair is awsome. The quality of the sound is great if you are in a small room, but if not.
This chair allows me to sit exactly where I want, with quick access to sound controls, and the sound literally right under me.The sound from this chair is excellent. The cables result in a not-so-neat installation and create a trip-hazard.Overall, the chair has provided many, many hours or reliable enjoyment. The chair uses a power supply, and the cable for that is relatively short -- you'll either need to be near an outlet or have an extension cord available. The stereo speakers are located at the top of the chair, on each side of the headrest. It has a decent curved shape, but I think the chair tends to recline too far when you just sit in it. It has a decent-sized ported subwoofer located on the back of the chair.
I've owned it for over a year, and the material has not split or cracked, and it is in perfect working condition. I received this as a gift and wasn't sure exactly what to think of it. I do spend many hours per week playing video games, and usually the sofa or other chairs aren't positioned exactly where I want them -- which is right in front of the screen, dead-center. Even after over one year, the padding and cushioning has maintained its shape and the chair has remained comfortable, including the headrest.
The controls include a separate bass adjustment and volume control, an audio input, and an audio output for daisy-chaining more than one chair or connecting it to something else. The chair is comfortable. Additionally, you can actually keep the volume lower during off-hours gaming -- and since the speakers are practically right next to your head, you can still hear everything. The armrests are perfectly positioned and make for comfortable gaming. The downside is the length of the included cables. I recommend this chair for any "console gamer".
I would recommend finding an extension cable. Although they face out, away from the chair, their placement actually creates a decent stereo effect -- similar to wearing headphones, without that "sound in the middle of the head" effect. The audio cable is just long enough for my placement/installation, but I would have preferred something longer. Turning up the stereo also bothered everybody else in the house.
I end up placing a pillow under the back to help keep it leaning forward; otherwise, I end up leaning forward with no back-support. It's great for watching movies or other videos. Bass is excellent, if not "rumbling". Volume is quite adequate -- turning the volume all the way up produces virtually no distortion while gaming, and only slight distortion while listening to music.
